Ezdina Organizaton dedicated its last dialogue session in the city of Hasaka to civil society and leaders and politicians.
Ezdina held its fourteenth dialogue session on the work of the Constitutional Committee and the Geneva Conferences within the project “A Constitution That Protects Us” on Sunday, June 6, 2021, at Al-Khabour hall in the city of Hasaka, which included the demands and proposals on drafting a new constitution for Syria.
The human rights activist in the Civil Peace Council, Mousa Issa, said that there is no one to represent him in the Syrian Constitutional Committee, pointing out that the negotiations on the Constitutional Committee are tantamount.
Issa added that the negotiations aim to keep them away from the main concern, which is how to find a political solution to the Syrian crisis, which is the basic requirement for resolving the crisis.
For his part, Basman Al-Assaf, said that the Geneva conferences reached nine conferences and stopped without any results, and the constitutional committee formed did not reach the slightest consensus and did not talk about the articles of the constitution.
In turn, human rights and political activist Bahram Hesso explained that the sessions regarding Geneva and the constitutional committee working on drafting a new constitution are necessary and useful.
Hesso pointed out the necessity for people with a degree of culture to attend these dialogue sessions to discuss such useful topics.
Hasso added that the constitutional committee is in the process of great work, but there is an absence and understatement regarding the representation of some components in general and women in particular in the committee.
It is noteworthy that Ezdina Organzation launched a new project in Northeastern Syria, under the title "A Constitution That Protects Us", starting from February 23, 2021 for a period of three months.
