
Members of Ezdina Organization visited the Yazidi house in the village of "Qazlan Jokh" of the city of Amuda, on Friday, with the aim of coordinating and developing relations between the two parties, and to inform the Yazidi House of the nature of the work carried out by Ezdina in the North and East of Syria.
The co-chair of the Yazidi House, Layla Mahmo, confirmed that the work force lies in coordination, noting that the Yazidi House will extend a helping hand to any work or activity that serves the region in general.
In turn, the joint head of the Yazidi House, Mr. Farouk Tozo, said that joint work at this stage brings better results, that changing misconceptions about any component cannot be achieved without cooperation and networking, pointing out that joint activities provide the two parties with access to the largest possible segment of the population. community members.
For her part, Ezdina spokeswoman, Avin Sheikhmous, explained the nature of the new project that the Ezdina started in North and East Syria under the title “A Constitution That Protects Us” in addition to her talk about the results of the “HOPE” project that Ezdina worked on during the year 2020.
It is noteworthy that Ezdina launched a new project, in northeastern Syria, under the title "A Constitution That Protects Us", starting from February 23, 2021, for a period of three months, sponsored of the US State Department.
It is noteworthy that the Ezdina opened its headquarters, on August 1, 2020 in the city of Qamishlo/Qamishli, and launched “Hope” project in the region as part of an academic and professional work program with the aim of increasing the local community’s awareness of the Yazidi identity and promoting rapprochement between the religious and national components in Northeastern Syria through respect for pluralism and acceptance of the other and the rejection of hate speech and violence.
