
Ezdina Organization held a dialogue session, in the city of Hasaka, in northeastern Syria, which carried several recommendations to the Constitutional Committee in Geneva, to prepare a constitution that guarantees the rights of all components of the Syrian people.
The session, entitled "A Constitution That Protects Us," in cooperation with the US State Department, was launched by the Ezdina on its new project, which aims to inform local communities about what is going on within the United Nations paper regarding negotiations for Syria.
A number of activists in civil society organizations in Hasaka participated, while a number of human rights activists from outside Syria participated via the “Zoom”.
"Ezdina" is a non-governmental media and human rights organization concerned with civil society, working to strengthen ties between religious and national components in the regions of northeastern Syria.
Abeer Hasaf, the facilitator of the dialogue session, told North-Press that the activities that Ezdina holds deal with the constitution and the political process that was held in Geneva with its nine conferences.
She indicated the absence of a large part of the components of the Syrian people through the absence of a real representation of the components of the regions of northeastern Syria.
"Today we discussed the issue of youth and the extent of neglecting this important segment of society, which are the real active forces in the issue of development, building the future," she added.
