Journalist Ibrahim Ibrahim said that the media profession is no longer just a message, culture and thought, but has become an advanced and widespread industry with its returns, in light of the scientific developments and the tremendous technological and technical development at all social levels, where institutions began Print and audio-visual media take up space on high levels of the globe.
Ibrahim’s speech came during his participation via the “Zoom” ,in the seventh dialogue session organized by Ezdina, as part of its project “A Constitution That Protects Us”, in the city of Hasaka, with the participation of a group of media professionals, representatives of media institutions and photojournalists.
The Kurdish journalist added that talking about the administrative concept of any media institution means talking about an institution that is an administrative entity that is not arbitrary and has a legal personality known to people. One knows a lot about any “institution” and especially its “media discourse and methods of work” by simply talking about that institution, pointing out that the nature of the objectives of each institution has to do with the nature of the structure of the institution.
Ibrahim explained that each institution has specific goals and plans that are implemented by specialized people who use certain means and work according to a mechanism, whereby the goal and plan are determined according to the cultural status of the donors.
Ibrahim also said that any institution, especially in the media field, if it wants to achieve the purpose, it must set clear and specific goals in order to evaluate performance. While the use of information technology has become the prominent feature of any administration, as any department that does not use it is considered a slow traditional administration that cannot keep pace with developments, events and rapid changes, pointing out that the concept of modern management is the best application of technological development in modern management to achieve the objectives of the institution.
