The writer, Ciwan Nebi, said that dialogue sessions are always necessary, in order to involve everyone with their views and aspirations, for the future of the country, pointing out that the arrival of outcomes to decision centers is what gives these sessions their importance.
Nebi’s speech came during his participation via the “Zoom” Program in the eighth dialogue session held by the Ezdina Organization within the project “A Constitution That Protects Us”, on Wednesday, April 4, 2021, with the participation of a group of young women, youth and civic activists from the city of Amuda.
Nebi explained that the Constitutional Committee has not provided anything so far, and will not, adding that in the absence of the international will, and the absence of real representatives of the Syrian people, the regime and the coalition will not provide anything for the Syrian people.
Nebi added that there is a legal rule that says: “You cannot be an opponent and a ruler at the same time”. The regime and the coalition related to Turkey and its Ottoman ambitions are the cause of the ruin the country has reached, and they cannot be rulers over us either.
Nabi stressed that the constitutional committee does not represent all components of the Syrian people, but rather represents the operators of the Syrian war, and the Geneva conferences are a waste of time, and a real international will and real representatives of the Syrian people are required to reach a solution.
Nebi added that the Syrian regime and the Syrian coalition are obstructing a political solution in Syria, because the coalition is controlled by Turkey with its ambitions and desire to occupy the Syrian lands and for the Syrian people not to obtain their rights, especially the Kurdish people.
Nebi pointed out that major countries such as Russia and America, along with Iran and Turkey, are not serious about searching for a solution that fulfills the aspirations and hopes of the Syrian people. Rather, they are working to prolong the war in order to achieve their own interests and ambitions, especially Turkey and Russia.
The writer Ciwan Nebi concluded his speech by saying that there must be an international will and real representatives of the Syrian people to reach a constitution that protects all components of Syrian society.
