The member of Nujeen Society for Community Development, Bilind Ma'o, said that the political process in Syria needs to cease fire in all Syrian regions, the withdrawal of heavy weapons from the cities, the withdrawal of all armed forces in the areas where civilians are present, in addition to pulling out all the forces which demographically change the Syrian regions, especially Turkey.
Ma’os speech came during his participation in the sixth dialogue session organized by Ezdina as part of its project "A Constitution That Protects Us", last Thursday in the city of Hasaka, with the participation of a group of young activists of women and men.
Ma'o added that in order to make any decision regarding the Syrian people, there must be credibility, transparency, and an impartial committee far from the political orientations under the auspices of the international community and the Arab League.
Ma'o pointed to the importance of highlighting the role of youth and women in building peace when talking about the Syrian Constitutional Committee, the participation of young people in decision-making and giving them the right to have opportunities to assume leadership and administrative positions.
