Tammo participated in the fourth dialogue session held by Ezdina as part of the project "A Constitution That Protects Us", in the city of Qamishlo/Qamishli, in the presence of representatives of minorities, religious and national components in northeastern Syria.
Tammo added that it is possible for the Syrian regime to resort to evasion, accept a temporary democratic constitution, and turn against it in the future.
Tammo indicated that it is necessary to have two parties at the dialogue table, but the most important thing is to fulfill some basic conditions on both sides of the dialogue, which are "a fair and real representation of the ethnic, religious and political components of the Syrian people, and that each party has a decision to decide the fate of the party it represents".
Tammo explained that the absence of the Kurds in the current constitutional committee is due to the presence of the majority of the Muslim Brotherhood, and the Turkish veto that prevents any representation of the Kurdish will in a future Syria.
Tammo added that Turkey seeks to seize the Syrian decision in the future Syria through its tools in the Syrian opposition, and to eliminate any efforts for a Kurdish role in building a pluralistic, decentralized Syria in the future.
Tammo pointed out that the solution in Syria passes through the implementation of UN Resolution 2254, but the presence of a dual Russian and Chinese veto, an effective Iranian presence on Syrian soil, and its readiness for a possible confrontation with regional and international powers through their militias, impedes the implementation of this decision.
It is noteworthy that Ezdina Organization launched a new project, in northeastern Syria, under the title "A Constitution That Protects Us", started on February 23, 2021, for a period of three months.
