The leader of the Kurdish Progressive Democratic Party in Syria, Ahmed Suleiman, said that the session contributed to dialogue between the political forces in the region, which it is the first time that all these political forces meet together, which is considered a success for Ezdina Organization.
Suleiman added that the participants expressed their views on a very important point, which is the future constitution of Syria, pointing out that he believes that the importance of the constitution comes after the war in the country gets over.
Suleiman indicated that the Syrian crisis cannot be resolved without international and internal consensus, because one party, such as America or Russia, cannot find a political solution for Syria.
The Kurdish politician pointed out that the failure of the Geneva conferences was due to the lack of cooperation of the Russians, and the lack of seriousness of America in supporting the Geneva process.
The leader of the Kurdish Progressive Democratic Party in Syria explained that the Constitutional Committee was formed according to Resolution 2254, pointing out that the continuity of this committee in its current status will not be of any benefit since the representatives in it do not represent all the Syrian people.
Suleiman noted that the Kurds need to achieve two points: They have to reach a document with the Syrian opposition, about the constitutionally defining the Kurds in Syria, and an agreement between the Kurds themselves about their demands.
It is noteworthy that the leader of the Kurdish Progressive Democratic Party in Syria, Ahmed Suleiman, participated along with political leaders and representatives of political parties in the northeastern Syria, in the fifth dialogue session held by Ezdina Organization, on Thursday 25 March, in the city of Qamishlo/Qamishli.
